This summer our super premium Italian beer brand Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% is bringing fans from across Europe the opportunity to feel the passion from inside the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team garage via a new multi-sensory experience called ‘IL PITSTOP’.

The custom designed mobile, multi-sensory experience will travel across 11 European cities including London, Budapest, Amsterdam and Milan for their British, Hungarian, Dutch and Monza Grand Prix, as well as other key cities including Belfast, Manchester, Birmingham, Sopot, Gothenburg, Berlin and Bucharest.

Guests will have the opportunity to view the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team car up close, and in person whilst also partaking in a pit stop challenge. Guests will also feel transported to the garage with a unique soundscape experience offering them the noise of the AMR22 being drafted into Il Pitstop. Samples of the new Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%, offering the same crisp and refreshing Italian taste experience as Peroni Nastro Azzurro but with 0.0% alcohol will be available to sample.

Grolsch brews best 'Weizen' and 'Barleywine' in the world

After Grolsch (part of Asahi Europe & International) received thirteen awards in the first round of the World Beer Awards (WBA) last month, it managed to secure no less than two world titles during the grand finale: Grolsch Krachtig Kanon and Grolsch Puur Weizen can now call themselves 'Best Beer in the World' within their category for one year.

Gambrinus Celebrates 150 years. Cheers!

One of the most popular Czech beer brands has just celebrated a major anniversary. 150 years ago, a group of entrepreneurs and businessmen met in a Pilsen pub and decided to establish the second modern brewery in town. Before long, the foundation stone was laid, and only a year later, in December 1870, the first barrels of the new beer were being sold to customers. Thus, Pilsen took another important step to becoming the beer capital of the country.

New LECH Nowy Staw III wind farm producing energy for Kompania Piwowarska

As of 2021, 100% of the electricity needs of the breweries owned by Kompania Piwowarska are covered with wind energy supplied by RWE. Our newly launched wind farm LECH Nowy Staw III is located near the town of Nowy Staw, about 50 km south-east of Gdansk. The LECH Nowy Staw III wind farm, owned and operated by RWE, is comprised of three turbines, which together have a total installed capacity of 12 megawatts (MW) and meets 54% of Kompania Piwowarska’s demand for electricity necessary to brew beer in the Dojlidy Brewery, Lech Browary Wielkopolski and Tyskie Browary Ksiazece, while the remaining 46% is already delivered by the existing wind farms in Nowy Staw.
